Jodhaa Akbar is the untold love story of the greatest Mughal emperor who ruled Hindustan With Hrithik Roshan as Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Jodhaa. Film is directed by Lagaan fame Ashutosh Gowarikar.
The film Jodhaa Akbar is in a steep of problems. First, UTV wanted to back out of the film, then they bailed it out. Next, they had a hard time finding a music distributer. BIG music came along, and now is backing out. UTV has to launch its own music label to bail the music out again. It wont surprise me if the movie got postponed to Feb or March with music releasing in Jan sometime. As a fan of A R Rahman these series of events has been frustrating to watch. Hope that UTV promotes the music and movie with sincere effort.
Now UTV has the copyrights, and they will be licensing the expertise of Sony Music for the rest of the things. So lets hope for the best. They are now working hard 24×7 to release it on the 27th Dec.
