K M Music Conservatory – Press Meet
Summary of the K M Music Conservatory press meet – A R Rahman who recently launched his KM Music conservatory has stated that he would be commencing his new venture with 150 students in his institution. These students were selected as the best talented ones specialized in various aspects in the field of music.
K M Music Conservatory started up in collaboration with Audio Media Education, an Apple Authorized Training Centre has its entire concern on instrumental and vocal along with the latest developed music technology. These entire packages will make the young talented ones into transformed great musical professionals.
As an initial course, A R Rahman will have the institution installed in Chennai and later after couple of years, he has plans to open a new branch in the outskirts of Chennai, preferably a hill station.

I think they will hand pick the students. Or I am thinking, they will have auditions for selection of students. It wud probably be like IIT JEE or CAT …
150 students initially and expansion an year or so down the line.
I’d say if one does get into KM Music Conservatory, that person wud be very lucky indeed

Namaskar i’m from kolkata. I’m very much interested in this new world of music. I sing ghazals and the songs in light classical genre. I’ve been looking for my appropriate guru to begin a new musical life. Over the bygone years i’ve been trained for light songs and ghazals under pt Manas Chakravorty and Baloo dutta, desciple of ghazal wizard Ghulam Ali from pakistan.
